Influenced by the desire to be green and kind to the
environment, two friends Giovanna and Alda created an eco friendly
collection of jewellery "Gi_Chi" that has pushed all boundries!
They scour wholesale construction supply warehouses and local
factories to find disregarded materials. Their findings are used to
create pieces with special shapes and unusual textures. Leather,
polycarbonate, aluminium, copper and rubber are just some of the
materials used in their collections.
mingk is proud to be the first to bring this new and fresh
collection to Australia and New Zealand.
The power of Gi_Chi lies in their ability to give a new artistic
twist to fashion jewellery: doormat, anti-slip rubber, garden hose
and construction insulation are all used to create elegant and easy
to wear pieces.
