In 2001 Italian designer and artist Barbara Bologna was inspired
to create a new line of accessories and sculptures, "Area" was
born.
Barbara's idea behind the limited edition, hand-made and
numbered designs was sparked by an idea to renew the usual concept
of the accessory. Her vision, to see each piece as essential, to be
dressed as much as a real dress, and become a part of the
dressing.
Barbara says each collection is 'know out style', each design is
born from an idea or concept from her artistic background.
You will be transported to a radical
environmental atmosphere in the latest collection. A forest,
symbolising a timeless place, an arrival and natural
perfection.

"Area" offers women a complete look.
Each piece is hand made in Italy from raw materials to precious
details in each accessory. All materials are bought by Italian
companies of prestigious niche areas.
